On this 3 day practical training course, extend
your knowledge beyond conventional static
computer forensics analysis. You will be
guided through the process of conducting
malware analysis, from the principles
surrounding the different analysis
environments and 7Safe/ Digicore's malware
investigation methodology to investigating
network activity stemming from malicious
software infection. CMI guides delegates through the process of investigating malicious software. It teaches methodologies, shows how to analyse and interpret malicious software and identify relevant artefacts. In practical exercises, delegates will experience malware investigation in mounted, booted and network investigation analysis environments; setting them up, collecting and interpreting volatile information.
Delegates who
successfully complete the exam included at
the end of the training course will be
awarded the Certified Malware Investigator
(CMI) qualification. |

The CMI Training Course is part of the University of Bedfordshire's Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma and Masters in Computer Security and Forensics and De Montfort University’s Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma and Masters in Professional Practice in Digital Forensics & Security. After successfully completing this course and associated exam, you will be credited with 15 points towards your University qualification. |
