Sales Executive

 

 

 

Exciting New Opportunity for a driven and ambitious Sales Executive to join an expanding company in Dublin 18.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and contacting potential clients and selling the benefits of our training products and services. Duties will also include producing mailings and reports.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have either sales or telemarketing experience along with an understanding of SEO and social media and how to utilise them in new business development. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also key.

Candidates must have strong customer service skills coupled with an excellent telephone manner. Good organisational skills are also essential.

Whilst not essential, an administration/marketing qualification would be a distinct advantage to your application.

 


This is a commission based sales position which is negotiable depending on experience.

Digicore is a provider of a Master’s programme in Computer Security and Forensics and Professional Practice in Digital Forensics and Security accredited by the University of Bedfordshire and De Montfort University respectively, both based in the UK. Due to continued expansion we require Full & Part Time trainers to deliver our prestigious Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma and Masters programmes.

 


Position Requirements:

 


If you are interested in acquiring a training post, you should possess a third-level qualification (or equivalent professional qualification) along with a career history with a roadmap emphasis on Cyber Security and a high level of professional expertise in the Cyber Security field. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

 

Skills:

 


The preferred background discipline should be security related however, an ability to absorb current security best practices and to deliver these in an informative and enthusiastic manner is paramount.

 

Qualities:


• Relevant industry experience.
• Interest in the design & development of programmes.
• Previous relevant third level teaching experience
• Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning methodology.

Penetration Tester Vacancy


Digicore is a leading provider of Cyber Security Education and Services in Ireland. From world-leading blue collar organisations to major government departments, we help organisations to improve security and moderate risk across their business. Due to continued expansion we require full & part time penetration testers to join our dynamic team.

 

Position Requirements:


Candidates will need to deliver external and internal infrastructure and web application penetration tests to our customers along with other forms of IT security consultancy. The ideal applicant will have some experience in commercial penetration testing. Strong general information security awareness and knowledge of operating system and applications is a prerequisite of this role. You will need some coding background and should have great expertise in at-least one of the following programming languages: C, C#, PHP, JAVA, .NET
 
The role is based in our Dublin office; however, once an established member of the pen test team, you will spend time working on our client sites, therefore flexibility to travel is important.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:


• IT security consultancy
• Learn and share information within the team.
• Ability and will to undertake various research activities.
• Participate in all team’s everyday operations
 
Essential Skills:


• Good expertise in at-least one programming language (e.g.: PHP, Java, C#, C). Prior coding experience is ideal.
• Good working knowledge of secure web development principles.
• Understanding of Operating System internals, knowledge of TCP/IP.
• An appreciation of Information Security issues.
 

Qualities:


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision whilst maintaining team ethics
• Client oriented, able to communicate with all levels of an organisation with appropriate technical content
